If you ever come to visit Datia city, then definitely visit Rajgarh Palace Once. Rajgarh Palace was built around 1660 to 1680. According to history, the Rajgarh Palace was built during the reigns of Raja Shubhaharan, Inderjit and Shatrujit Singh. This Palace is about 350 years old from today. This palace attracts a lot of tourists due to its beauty and grandeur. If you come to Datia city. Then definitely visit Rajgarh Palace.

There are many caves under this palace. It is believed that a tunnel leads through the Rajgarh Palace to The Old Palace. Looking west from the Main entrance of the Pitambara Peeth temple, we see the Rajgarh Palace built on a hill. And the same Pitambara Peeth is visible from the Rajgarh Palace looking east. After the rule of Rajao Maharajas, this palace was given for the work of the government. where the Kachahari was established. Now it is completely empty. Therefore it has been included in the toutist destinations. 

Looking north-west from the Rajgarh Palace, we can see The Old Palace. It is also known as VeerSingh Palace. It is famous as Datia Mahal, When viewed from the top floor of Rajgarh Palace, the Whole city of Datia looks very beautiful. From here you can see a very beautiful and enchanting view fo the whole city.

At Present the condition of Rajgarh Palace is very serious. This Palace has collapsed due to lack of proper care of it. At some places its roof has also collapsed. Most of the walls have cracks. Due to the lack of proper care of the famous tourism of Datia, this tourist place has become in ruins.
